Art District Gallery is an exhibition space that opened in 2021, dedicated exclusively to fine art photography and painting. It features a curated selection of photography, paintings, and sculptures, offering a unique space where photography enthusiasts and collectors can explore exceptional fine art exhibitions and discover sculptures from around the world.

Founded and curated by photographer Maher Attar, Art District Gallery embodies his vision of elevating fine art in Lebanon, which he describes as “a gallery of haute couture.”

Having spent most of his career in Paris, Attar returned to Beirut in 2016, only to face a series of unexpected challenges: the Lebanese revolution (“Thawra”) in 2019, the financial collapse, the COVID-19 pandemic, and the devastating explosion of August 4, 2020. The blast destroyed vast areas of Beirut, including the very spaces he had restored and transformed into Art District Gallery and L’Atelier by Maher Attar.
