Nada Machnouk Eido is a Beirut-based artist known for her distinct approach to abstract oil painting, whether it’s through textured mixed media, or through her more recent work consisting of only oil painting.
Nada follows a hunch. Her intuition guides her to a vision that is elusive at first. Diving into this unknown call becomes an integral part of her daily work.
For this exhibition, it’s the depth of the water that has invigorated her throughout her creative process. Mythical creatures have reached out from the abyssal plain, asking to manifest their presence in our animated world, through the brush of the artist.
Throughout the years, the ALBA graduate whose work has been showcased at the Salon d’Automne in Paris and in numerous group and solo exhibitions in Beirut, has become renowned for inviting her
audiences to immerse themselves in her visions and interpret her pieces in their own personal way, all while maintaining a seamless and natural continuity from one collection to the other.
The vast emotions evoked in different people through the artist’s work, alongside her recognizable aesthetic, has allowed her paintings to find homes around the globe.
